Skipping lunch???

Skipping lunch is probably the worst idea since Chris Waddle went for a blast in the top corner rather than pass it to one side of the net during that fateful night back in 1990. Yes, everyone knows the one so i will not dabble in the finer points of the evening. Skipping lunch, as i vowed to do after thoroughly enjoying that big daddy meal from BK meal yesterday was never actaully an option, just like Waddle bagging that penalty was never an option. I have recently discovered that Marks & Spencer offer a cracking lunchtime deal which includes a sandwich, packet of crisps and some fizzy orange pop all for £2!! I believe this is what people call 'value for money'. Or a billy bargain, depending on where you were brought up. Continuing on the topic of regional language differentiation, it took me ages to realise that the word 'cob' up north means bun or roll, so when my newly aquainted uni flatmate once asked me if i want chips in my cob i replied 'i'll just stick to sweetcorn please' like a ruddy idiot! baring down upon the 1 o'clock feasting window of great times is always an intense and uncanny period of time, one of which i feel at one with the whole nation, almost as if our eyes become one as we seek out that configuration of numbers that read 13:00. Weather it be on the wall, on your wrist or at the bottom right hand of our screens, the whole nation breathes together. And on that bombshell i think to myself... Fuck M&S, ill have a ham and egg cob for lunch today.
